Customs duties:
Duties levied on imports are mostly of unified percentage of 5% (except for tobacco products (100%) and alcoholic beverages (50%), but there are many exemptions as detailed in the list of goods exempted of unified customs tariff GCC States..
The commercial practices in Fujairah customs are in line with the regular international standards. As a developed market, full technical specifications should be provided along with the price of goods, insurance, shipping, UAE prices and Middle East references. The goods can be supplied to Fujairah only by importers who hold a valid commercial license. .
The value of goods as indicated on the original invoice is taken as basis for determining the payable customs duties, but in case of suspicion, the customs officers can reassess the goods and use the adjusted value as basis to calculate the payable customs duties.

48	Article (2) Exception of trademark complaints The complainant shall request trademark complaints exception application, the complainant shall also request application of additional inspection services concerning the commercial agencies with depositing insurance of AED 5000 which shall be refunded to the complainant in case of the validity of the complaint submitted.
