In order to facilitate the matter for the citizens and residents, we provide our services as the individual customers may clear their customs transaction through the counters specified for them in Department sections.
List of the services are as follows: Clearance of the personal baggage
If the imported goods are for the purposes of the personal use and used, they will be taken into consideration in order to exempt them from the customs duties after inspecting them by the customs inspectors. If the customs inspectors find that they are new and in commercial quantities, customs duties will be collected in rate of 5% levied on them.
The required documents from the importer:
- A copy of the passport
- A copy of residence visa (Non-citizens)
- Written list of the imported goods
The new and used cars
You can import a new or used car according to the rules of import and to enclose the required documents in case of importing it by shipping company.
- The invoice
- Packaging list
- Bill of lading
- A copy of passport
But if it is imported in person the following will be required:
- A copy of passport
- The invoice
The car will be assessed and inspected by the Customs Inspectors and collecting the customs duties in rate of 5% of the car value.
